The Computational Genomics Group is part of the Research Programme in Biomedical Informatics (GRIB) at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Hospital del Mar Research Institute. It is sited in the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park building. The group develops computational tools to analyze large DNA and RNA sequencing datasets. It carries out research in different areas of computational genomics, including splicing and cancer, identification of disease-associated variants, regulatory newtorks and evolution of new genes.
The Computational Genomics group comprises four Principal Investigators (PIs). Each PI leads a number of research projects, for more details click on the name of the group leader:
