The Computational Genomics Group is part of the Research Programme in Biomedical Informatics (GRIB) at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Hospital del Mar Research Institute. It is sited in the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park building. The group develops computational tools to analyze large DNA and RNA sequencing datasets. It carries out research in different areas of computational genomics, including splicing and cancer, identification of disease-associated variants, and evolutionary innovation in genomes.
